1. Data controller
For customers in Malaysia and Indonesia, your personal data is collected and processed by Technicity Sdn Bhd (SSM Registration No. 202301006728 / 1500649-A), the operator of Career Code Club, with its registered office at Level 13, Boutique Office 3, BO3-D-13, Menara 3A (Pillar 7), KL Eco City, No. 3 Jalan Bangsar, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy is provided in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and applicable data-protection laws.
2. Information we collect
- Account & contact details: name, email address, phone number, and country.
- Transaction details: the membership purchased, amount, currency, date, and payment status. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment gateway — we do not store them.
- Usage data: courses accessed, progress, and device/browser information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your data
- to create and manage your account and provide access to your membership;
- to process payments and issue receipts;
- to provide support and respond to your enquiries;
- to send service-related communications (e.g. account, billing, and course updates);
- to improve the platform and its content;
- to comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Payment processing
Payments are handled by licensed third-party payment gateways. When you pay, your payment details are transmitted directly to the gateway under their own security standards (e.g. PCI-DSS). We receive only confirmation of the transaction and limited, non-sensitive details (such as the last digits or payment method type). We never store your full card number, CVV, or PIN.
5. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with:
- payment gateways and financial institutions, to process your payment;
- service providers who host or support the platform, under confidentiality obligations;
- authorities or regulators where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
As Career Code Club serves members in more than one country, your data may be processed in or transferred to jurisdictions outside your own. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
